Division 1 next year

Money Ponds are "lucky" enugh to have a player who pays for the likes of Turley, Casey, Wilkie, etc. to come down and play a few games a year. I suggested to Hosken that each team only have 1 or 2 marquee players with which that could do that, i.e. MP would either have to list Turley and Casey at the start of the season, or once they had used 2 interstate players during the season wouldn't be able to get a different player. He definitely saw what was happening was a problem but seemingly did not agree with my idea.

How did you get to chat with the esteemed Mr Hosken? It's almost impossible for a rank-and-file player like myself.

Which Teams went up which teams went down??

The eight section winners from Div 2 are promoted into the 4 Division 1 sections and the eight teams that finished 9th and 10th are religated back to Division 2.

Up until two seasons ago that team was the team that finished on top of their section, now its the team that wins the Section Final that is promoted.

THe merits of the system are still being debated by a lot of people.
